Ce matériel provient de Teddy Riley en personne, et a servi a produire l'album Dangerous sorti en 1991. Vendu aux enchères en plusieurs lots depuis Octobre 2007, le lot complet se compose de 61 CD  reprennant tous les titres produits par Riley depuis Dangerous. Il s'agit de Dangerous, She drives me wild, Can't let her get away, In the closet, Remember the time, Jam, Why you wanna trip on me, Will you be there, Someone put your hand out, Blood on the dancefloor & Just Jammin*. Il contient des versions alternatives (ou démo), instrumentales, accapellas ou remixées. La grande majorité sont complètement inédites, d'ou leur intérêt et leur rareté. J'ai essayé de donné un maximum d'informations sur les morceaux (sur fond bleu clair) qui sont en ma possession.

* Il s'agit de la chanson "Jam".

 "These CD's are from Future Records Recording Studio, Teddy Riley's former studio in Virginia Beach, VA. They include many unheard mixes, edits, different sounds, different pieces taken in or added, and more. These mixes are one of a kind, they were not distributed to the public in any shape or form to our knowledge. The CD's are truely one of a kind.

These CD's were in the care of Teddy Riley, who moved his music operations to Virginia Beach, VA as the now defunct Future Records Recording Studio. When Teddy and the studio ran into financial problems, the CD's came up for auction and were purchased by private individual.

         C’est une presque une version instrumentale légèrement différente dans la structure et dans les instruments, avec tout de même les refrains chantés à 1’32 et 2’33.

    L’instrumental est plus light, ce qui permet de mieux entendre les " Why Why Why " qui sont plus lents, se répètent plus souvent, et sont différents de la version finale. Du coup, ces "Why Why Why" forment une nappe pure et reposante.

          A 5’31, il y a des “hoooo” inédits. On notera aussi la présence d’un effet « Bourdonnement d’abeille » par ci par là au début, effet cher à Riley qui en a utilisé plusieurs de ce type dans les démos que je connais.

 

            PS : je ne possède pas ces morceaux, mais j'ai eu la chance de les écouter.

DISCUSSION OF THE MOON WALK & DANCING FROM TWO LEGENDS

It is a personal interview by Michael Jackson of famed choreographer Hermes Pan, the legend that coached such greats as Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. The interview is roughly 20 minutes long in it's cleaned up form. The interview is personal, Michael at the beginning mentions that this is for his own use and not for commercial release. The two legends speak about multiple things, all related to dancing and music. Michael asks many questions about Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, and how they worked together in times past. It is great to hear these two speak so personally to one another.
